Imperial Barbershop: A Neighborhood Hub

Imperial Barbershop opened as a three chair shop under the ownership/operation of Mario Lewis in August of 2006.

Within two years not only did the shop become a resource center for the community of Southeast San Diego but it had grown to a six chair shop. Imperial Barbershop now has its own library, full service salon, retail service area, and meditation garden.

Imperial Barbershop has shop talk sessions with local politicians and celebrities, they’ve hosted men’s health outreach programs, know your rights workshops, been on multiple news segments and television programs.
